October 13-19, 2022

New local picks every Thursday evening to get your weekend started! Check back each week to see La Crosse Local’s picks and to make sure not to miss out on events throughout the year.

All Month

Pearl Street Brewery Hop Collection – Do you grow hops, or know someone who does? Pearl Street Brewery is bringing back its annual “Community Harvest” Ale, made from local, backyard hops from around the region. A Pearl Street tradition for over 15 years, PSB invites hop growers to bring in their crop to be included in this year’s batch, which is always brewed exclusively from locally grown hops. After the beer is brewed it will be distributed at PSB and other local participating restaurants and bars, and proceeds will be donated to the Sprout for Kids Foundation per every pint sold. Donate your hops, and for each pound of fresh-picked hop flowers brought in, the grower will receive 1lb of beer (pint) at the time of donation and 1lb of Harvest Ale beer after it is brewed.
