Thursday 5/25

Live Music at Larson’s General – Stop by Larson’s General for live music presented by Larson’s and Chili Manor from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Come see Mack John and P. Larkin perform live, and enjoy an evening of music downtown. There is limited seating, so bring your own chair or blanket and $10 or more to donate.

Friday 5/26

Cameron Park Farmers Market – The Cameron Park Farmer’s Market is back for the summer from May through October. Come down on Friday nights between 4:00 pm to dusk on the corner of 4th and King Street to check out the market each week. There will be a great lineup of vendors where you can buy local produce and more.

Wings (1927 Silent Film) with Peter Krasinski – Buy tickets to see Wings, a 1927 silent film at the Cappella Performing Arts Center on May 26. The film starts at 7:00 pm and will be accompanied by Peter Krasinski playing the Möller Organ. Don’t miss out on this cinematic masterpiece about love and loss, the tragic futility of war, and the need for peace.

Saturday 5/27

You Are Not Alone: Jon Ailabouni Album Release Party – Purchase tickets for the Jon Ailabouni Album Release Party at the Cappella Performing Arts Center this Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. Trumpeter, composer, and improvisor Jon Ailabouni will be performing his debut album entitled You Are Not Alone, which contains music designed for healing, feeling, and being. Top musicians from the Midwest will be featured alongside Ailabouni, and there will be a celebration after the concert with food and beverages.

Flibbertijibbet at Popcorn Tavern – Flibbertijibbet at Popcorn Tavern! This Saturday at 10:00 pm start your night out with some live music from a local favorite. The event is 21+ and there will be a $10 cover charge at the door.

Rocky Horror Picture Show – The Rivoli Theatre and Pizzaria is putting on a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the Main Theatre. Purchase tickets for the Saturday night show running from 9:55 pm – 11:35 pm and enjoy this classic film following sweethearts Brad and Janet as they discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Tickets can be purchased online.

Sunday 5/28

Gregg Cheech Hall at Whiskey River – Come and support Gregg Cheech Hall and enjoy an evening of great music at Whiskey River Bar and Grill this Sunday. Starting at 8:00 pm, see a local favorite live while enjoying food, drinks, and great company in West Salem.

Songs of Sacred Music – Make the trip to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm for a concert of Sacred Music: Song of the Angels. The concert will feature music of many periods in history, played by strings, trumpet, organ, marimba, and sung by choir and soloists. The concert will be presented as a “prism concert,” meaning each piece will be performed in immediate succession, emanating from different parts of the Shrine church, with its magnificent acoustics.

Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead – The “unauthorized continuation” of the Charles M. Schulz comics, the La Crosse Community Theatre presents Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead. Opening night is June 2nd, and the play runs through June 11th with performances on Thursdays through Sundays. Purchase your tickets now!

Artspire La Crosse 2023: 10th Anniversary – Artspire is back this June for their 10th Anniversary festival! Plan on heading to Artspire on Saturday June 10th and joining the Pump House Regional Arts Center for an all-inclusive, free, community arts celebration that showcases the power of the arts to create community.
