If you’re looking for THE classic La Crosse farmers market experience, Cameron Park is your spot. This farmer-run market has been a community staple for years, bringing the best of the area’s small farms straight to you. Think overflowing baskets of produce, fresh-baked treats, locally-raised meats, handcrafted goods – you name it!  Easy parking at the Market Square Ramp on Jay Street makes it a breeze to visit.

When: Fridays from 4 p.m. – dusk

Season: First Friday in May to last Friday in October

Onalaska Farmers Market

 

Stroll through the Independent Hmong Farmers Market on Sundays for the freshest seasonal produce, local cheeses, herbs, and delightful artisan treats. Open Sundays, 8 am to 1 pm, from June through October. 

When: Sundays from 8 am – 1 pm 

Season: First Sunday in June to the last Sunday in October

 


La Crescent Farmers Markets

595 Veteran’s Parkway, La Crescent, MN

Discover a bounty of fresh, local produce and homemade goods at the La Crescent Farmers Market. The vibrant outdoor market kicks off May 14th and runs weekly through October and sometimes features live music. From November to April, the indoor market is held once a month inside the La Crescent Area Event Center.

When: Tuesday, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Season: Year-round 

Where: Located in the parking lot adjacent to the Veteran’s Park and the La Crescent Event Center. 

 


 

Hmong Cultural & Community Center Farmers Market

When: Thursday, 8 am – 3 pm

Season: End of June through the end of September

Viroqua Farmers Market

220 S Main St, Viroqua WI, 54665

While not in La Crosse itself, the Viroqua Farmers Market is worth mentioning as it’s a bit farther out but offers a great selection of locally produced goods. It’s open on Saturdays from May through October.

When: Saturdays, 8 am – 12:30 pm

Season: Summer – Fall
