All Weekend 12/9 – 12/11
Amahl And The Night Visitors – Join the Cappella Performing Arts Center in experiencing Gian-Carlo Menotti’s beautiful Christmas story, Amahl And The Night Visitors. Showing on Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, this unique holiday show is a great way to ring in the season.
Sagra Food & Wine Reservations – Only open a few days every week with limited seating, the pop-up food and wine eatery, SAGRA has openings for December 10th and 11th at 6:00 pm. Reserve a table today to try some of their mainstay dishes and a few new additions to the menu.

La Crosse Dance Centre’s 33rd Annual “Nutcracker Ballet” – See the timeless holiday classic, the Nutcracker Ballet presented by the La Crosse Dance Centre at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center. Going on their 33rd Annual performance, come experience the joy of the season with La Crosse’s original Nutcracker Ballet.
La Crosse Community Theatre Presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast – Support local theater and come see the La Crosse Community Theatre present a classic Disney tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast. There are available showings on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, and on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Purchase your tickets now!
The Long Christmas Dinner – Grey Area Productions presents an original play by Thorton Wilder, The Long Christmas Dinner, at the Pump House Regional Arts Center on December 8-11. Donations are appreciated for the free December 8th showing, but tickets are needed for the 9-11th. The shows start at 7:30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Sunday.

Holiday Market at Larson’s General – Join the folks at Larson’s General for another Holiday market featuring a variety of local vendors! This market includes Embr Bags, Jennifer Morris – Children’s Book Illustrator, Grateful Thread, One Flaw Beading, Dirty Dozen Donuts and Tiara Traffas Art. The event runs on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Home Free Family Christmas – Check out the Home Free Family Christmas Tour at the La Crosse Center on Tuesday at 7:30 pm. The tour features the nationally renowned band, Home Free, and special supporting acts Texas Hill and Abby Anderson. Purchase your tickets today!
Wednesday 12/14
Author Event at Pearl Street Books: Joseph Bruchac – Celebrate the Winter Solstice with a reading by author Joseph Bruchac from A Year Of Moons. Starting at 6:30 pm join Bruchac, who is well-known for his storytelling prowess, at Pearl Street Books for a live reading from his thoughtful and perceptive book, A Year Of Moons, which takes readers month by month, moon by moon, through the landscape of the Adirondack foothills. If you can’t come in person, join this free event on Facebook Live, too.

String Ties Holiday Concert at the Pump House – Experience a holiday concert by The String Ties Band at the Pump House Regional Arts Center on December 15th and 16th at 7:30 pm. Together for over 25 years, The String Ties present their popular YULE show for a heart-warming take on melodies of the holiday season in their Bluegrass and Acoustic String Music style. Coming Up (12/15 – 12/22)
I Wonder as I Wander: La Crosse Chamber Chorale – Join the La Crosse Chamber Chorale for their winter concert, I Wonder as I Wander on Sunday, December 18th. The concert will start at 3:00 pm and celebrate several holiday traditions. The event is free to the public, but a suggested donation of $10 per person and a nonperishable food item for WAFER is appreciated.
La Crosse Center Presents: Christmas Lights & Country – Head to the La Crosse Center Saturday, December 17th for Christmas Lights & County with Big Liquor and special guest Nate Loeffelholz & the Stocking Stuffers. The doors open at 5:00 pm and the event is free for everyone 17 and under. Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 8 at 11:00 am.
Little Lights Everywhere – Coming December 18th, help The Main aid the New Horizons Shelter in providing families and abuse victims with clothing and personal care items this holiday season. From 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm you can donate items in exchange for entry to their event Little Lights Everywhere and admission for gift raffles totaling over $1.5k in value to local businesses. The event will feature 7 musical guests, 3 live artists and a street performer, plus an Ugly Sweater Competition.

On the Road (12/1 – 12/8)
Broken Wrist Records Presents the 2022 Player’s Ball feat. NOBODY’S DOPE – Presented by Broken Wrist Records, come to the 2022 Player’s Ball at Footjoy Farm and Brewing in Cashton on Sunday, December 11. The event will feature music by Nobody’s Dope, which is made up of Guess Pre (Gregory Stanton), Andy Hughes, and Brian Bethke. The show starts at 4:20 pm.
Good Morning Bedlam at Bluff View House Concerts – Come and see Isaak and Tori Elker of Good Morning Bedlam for an intimate house show at Bluff View House Concerts in Holmen. The show is on Friday night from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and the doors open at 7:00 pm. Be sure to reserve your spot early, as the show is expected to sell out. There will be cookies and treats available, but the event is BYOB.

Gregg “Cheech” Hall Presented by Deece Productions – Catch Gregg “Cheech” Hall on the road, performing another show at Saxon Hall in Brownsville. Presented by Deece Productions, this free show is a great way to spend your Saturday evening and grab some excellent pizza. The show starts at 7:00 pm.
Christmas in the Village – Join the local Trempealeau businesses on Saturday, December 10th for Christmas in the Village along the Mississippi River and the Great River Road.
