Elvis Explosion 2022 – Live at the La Crosse Center September 9th through the 11th, celebrate the 25th Anniversary Show of the La Crosse Wisconsin Elvis Explosion. With 3 days of non-stop Elvis music and competition you can watch up to 40 Elvis Tribute Artists compete for $25,000. The weekend will be chock full of everything Elvis, so if you’re a fan you may not want to miss out. Get your tickets today!

Second Saturday Downtown Art Market – Support local community artists this Saturday from 10am to 3pm with the Second Saturday Downtown Art Market in downtown La Crosse. The event started during the Pandemic to help local artists have a location to sell their work, and has continued through the summer of 2021 and 2022 on the second Saturday of every month. Come down to browse through the various art pieces, including pottery, jewelry, paintings, and more, and maybe even purchase something for your own personal collection. This event is presented by River City Gallery, Downtown Mainstreet, The Pumphouse Regional Art Center, The La Crosse Arts Initiative and The La Crosse Society of Arts and Crafts.

11th Annual Patron Reception – This Saturday at 5:30pm help the Pump House Regional Arts Center honor director Anne Drecktrah at the 11th Annual Patron Recognition Reception. The event will include food, friends, and entertainment, while bringing together the community to honor Drecktrah and all she has contributed to the Pump House and other arts activities and organizations in the La Crosse area. You can also enjoy hearing recollections and behind-the-scenes stories of Drecktrah’s time at the theater. This fundraising event will also help the Pump House support their mission to provide free admission to all galleries, tuition sponsorships, and diverse arts programming for all ages. Taste of Summer at Clearwater Farm – Join the folks at Clearwater Farm in Onalaska for their annual Taste of Summer fundraising event this Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. There will be a wine and beer tasting, a delicious meal by Fathead Steve’s Food Truck, live music by the Great River Troubadours, a silent auction, a wine pull and grub grab. The evening is sure to be a fun and entertaining experience for all.

Pride in the Park – Celebrate pride with The center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection and the La Crosse area community from 11am to 6pm on Saturday at Riverside Park. The event celebrates and supports the LGBTQ members of our community, as well as everyone who chooses to attend this fun, welcoming gathering. There will be free fun for the whole family, including vendors, community groups, kids activities, food and more!

Moon Tunes Woodstock Finale – Presented by Deece Productions, the final Moon Tunes show of the summer will take place this Saturday at the bandshell in Riverside Park at 2pm. The afternoon show will feature a variety of bands rotating every 20 minutes before ending the evening with a fireworks show. Knee High July, Flibbertjibbet, The Brianna Rae Band and more artists and bands will be there to provide a great live music experience for all.

Mid West Music Fest 2022 La Crosse – Mid West Music Fest is coming to La Crosse this September September 16th-17th for a weekend of music, entertainment and the arts! Featuring regional artists for over 13 years, the festival promotes music and art of all genres and mediums and supports the connection of the community to our local music and art scenes throughout the area. This special Driftless region festival was held earlier this year in Winona, and the second festival is approaching quickly. United We Rock – Ft. The Remainders with TUGG & Tom Conrad – Come down to Copeland Park & Events Center on Thursday, September 15th for a free community concert featuring The Remainders with special guests TUGG and Tom Conrad. The fundraising event is presented by Great Rivers United Way to kick off its 2022-2023 fundraising campaign to raise funds for its 51 partner programs. The doors open at 5pm and will feature the musical talents of Tom Conrad at 5pm, TUGG at 6pm, and The Remainders at 7:30pm. The event will have lots of opportunities to support Great Rivers United Way and the community while enjoying some epic live music.
Artaria String Quartet – Cappella Grand Opening – Join the Cappella Performing Arts Center for their Grand Opening on September 16th, featuring Minnesota’s foremost teaching and performing string quartet, Artaria String Quartet. From 7:30pm to 11:00pm, audience members can expect refined and thoughtful playing and confident interpretations from an exceptional ensemble.
Alpine Inn Fall Rock Fest!Alpine Inn invites everyone 21+ to get their duff up the bluff for their final music festival of the year! Starting at 2pm and rocking until late evening, you can come see Jen Wilder, Overplayed, and the Greedy Volunteers. The outdoor bar will be serving drinks, there will be lawn games, and there will be a free shuttle running to Bennett O’Riley’s every hour starting at 2 pm. Come out for a fun evening of great music, company, and entertainment.

Sandbar Storytelling Festival – Start looking forward to the Sandbar Storytelling Festival, a three day storytelling event held in Winona, Minnesota in October. The festival will bring exciting storytelling performances and chronicles, food, and workshops to Winona from October 14th to 15th. The performances will celebrate and preserve varied cultural traditions and human experiences, while promoting the art of storytelling for all ages.

Phantom Of The Opera (1925 Silent Film) Featuring: The Mighty Moller Organ – Presented by the Cappella Performing Arts Center, come and see the Phantom Of The Opera, the 1925 silent horror film on October 31st at 7:00pm. The film will be accompanied by the Mighty Moller Cappella organ played by Peter Krasinski. A film adaptation of Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, The Phantom Opera stars the Phantom played by Lou Chaney who haunts the Paris Opera House in an attempt to make the woman he loves a star.
