Saturday 3/11

Kit Mayer & The Pack with Alex Toast at the Pump House – Purchase your tickets for a concert on Saturday, March 11, 2023 by Kit Mayer and The Pack with an opening performance by Alex Toast. The performance starts at 7:30 pm and the doors open at 7:00 pm at the Pump House Regional Arts Center. Tickets are $30 for the general public, $25 for members and $15 for students and military.

St. Patrick Parade – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irishfest-La Crosse’s 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11, 2023. The parade will gather at 11:00 am in the Freighthouse parking lot, before leaving at 12:00 pm and traveling 10 blocks throughout Downtown La Crosse. Afterwards enjoy Irish music and food and drinks for purchase at the Freighthouse immediately following the parade. The Hunger Task Force also will be in the parade, accepting donations of non-perishable food or money.

Larryfest Kickoff Celebration – Larryfest is coming up this August, so don’t miss out on the Larryfest Kickoff Celebration this Saturday at Leo and Leona’s for a great night of music, $10 off Larryfest tickets, and free drawings for tickets, passes and more Larryfest items. The show starts at 7:00 pm and features some of the 2023 Larryfest performers including Crooked Willow, Annie & The Oakies, and Dan and Mary Sebranek. There is a $20 cover charge at the door.

B2wins at The Historic Temple Theatre – Purchase tickets to see a spectacular show by B2wins, the charismatic twin brothers from Brazil and their violins. B2wins presents “Top 40 From the Last 40” at the Historic Temple Theatre in Viroqua featuring four decades of the music you know and love with a unique twist. Audiences can look forward to the likes of Sinatra to Ed Sheeran, Louis Armstrong to Dua Lipa, and Michael Jackson to Daft Punk.

The La Crosse Gurls Present “Showtunes & Musicals” – Come see the La Crosse Gurls present their show, Showtunes & Musicals at 9:00 pm on Saturday night. Tickets are ten dollars presale through Saturday at 4:00 pm, or $20 at the door. The doors open at 8:00 pm, the event is 21+ and the show runs until midnight.

Jazz Society Open Jam at The Root Note – Stop by the Root Note between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm for the Jazz Society Open Jam. Purchase sustainably sourced food and drink, and enjoy listening to or playing in the open jam. This event is informal and inclusive to all jazz musicians.

Coming Up

Bluff Country Tale Spinners at Pump House Regional Arts Center – Add another event to your St. Patrick’s Day with Celtic Stories and Song by the Bluff Country Tale Spinners at the Pump House Regional Arts Center. The local storytelling guild will be sharing Irish and Celtic stories on Friday, March 17 at 7:30 pm, and they will be accompanied by Dublin’s Daughters. Tickets are $15 and green attire is encouraged!

Dig Deep LIVE @ Alpine! – Purchase your tickets now to see Dig Deep live at Alpine Inn on Saturday night, March 25! Starting at 8:00 pm, the live show is sure to be entertaining with a combination of traditional bluegrass and country music and rock and roll. Dig Deep is a unique and powerful force in the roots world, and has played punk/metal scenes, local bars and roadhouses, and regional festivals.

St. Patrick’s Day with The Guilty Kilts – Celebrate your St. Patrick’s Day with Pearl Street Brewery! The doors open at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 17 and the celebration will feature food, drinks, and live music. Enjoy food (including Corned Beef and Cabbage while it lasts) starting at 5:00 pm, and music by The Guilty Kilts starting at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $11 online or $10 for purchase in the Tasting Room.

The Diary of Anne Frank Presented by the La Crosse Community Theatre – Running March 24th through April 2nd, the La Crosse Community Theatre will be presenting their rendition of The Diary of Anne Frank. The undeniably moving show brings historical figure Anne Frank to life as a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl confronting uncertainty, changes, and the increasing horror of her time. Tickets are available for purchase now.

The Kid Presented by Cappella Performing Arts Center – Purchase tickets to see The Kid (1917 Silent Film) at the Cappella Performing Arts Center accompanied by the Mighty Moller Organ. The showing starts at 7:00 pm and runs until 9:00 pm on Friday, March 31. Charlie Chaplin, Edna Purviance, and Jackie Coogan star in this 1921 production.
