
Linocut Relief Printing Workshop | Pump House Regional Arts Center

In this five-week course, Led by Shoua Yang, a local professional printmaker, students will learn to carve from a linoleum board producing their very own linocuts and having the opportunity to print the old fashion way with a tortilla press.
Students will come up with their own design, learn to transfer the design, carve on a linoleum board to produce a “linocut” and print the linocuts producing relief prints. Students will also learn to print with a variety of methods.
Class occurring weekly on TUESDAY, starting September 30 and running through October 28. By the final week, students will have created a design, carved, and printed their work.

Note: weeks 1-3: 5-7 PM (2hrs) and weeks 4-5: 5-8 PM (3hrs)
$95 for 5 week session (must be able to attend each session)
