Mount La Crosse

Mount La Crosse offers 18 different scenic trails and slopes nestled in the bluffs, catering to beginners, seasoned skiers, and snowboarders! The resort features a terrain park, night skiing, chair lifts, and a unique A-frame chalet with dining and an award-winning après-ski bar. Snowflake Ski Club

Just a short drive from La Crosse, the Snowflake Ski Club has been a hub for ski jumping enthusiasts for decades. Learn how to ski jump with the Skier Membership, or have the kids try out the sport with the Youth Ski Jump Team. Each winter, the club also hosts international competitions on its Olympic-sized 118-meter hill, attracting athletes and spectators from around the globe. This year, international ski jumpers from the US, Norway, Poland, and Slovenia will be at the tournament!

 


 

Whitetail Ridge Ski Area

Whitetail Ridge Ski Area is open to the public and offers a variety of winter activities for all ages! The ski hill features a vertical drop of over 185 feet, with the longest run stretching 1,300 feet. Snowboarders can enjoy the terrain park, while snow tubing enthusiasts have access to an 800-foot slope. Cross-country skiers can explore over five miles of groomed trails, often accompanied by wildlife sightings. After a day on the slopes, visitors can relax and warm up in the Chalet and Ten Point Pub!

Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area

Location: N791 Bruce Mound Ave, Merrillan (Just over an hour from La Crosse)

With snowboarding runs, tubing runs, and a 3,000-foot slope for skiing, the Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area has plenty to do to fill the whole day. New to Bruce Mound this year is a conveyor lift for the tubing lanes! After a day of outdoor fun, warm up with a delicious lunch at their on-site Chalet.

 


 

Cascade Mountain
