Cold Weather Get Together | Upper Hixon Park

ORA Trails, BLACK, Beer by Bike Brigade, and Adventure Films invite the community to join us for a free winter gathering at Upper Hixon Park and the Pump Track on February 7, 2026.

The Cold Weather Get Together is a family-friendly, come-and-go community event designed to celebrate winter recreation and encourage people of all ages and experience levels to get outside. No registration is required!

Activities will include casual hiking, biking, and running on the trails; a family scavenger hunt with geocache-style exploration bins; a kids pump track area; and opportunities to warm up with hot cocoa, s’mores, and fireside conversations.

Other activities will also take place, including the Cup of Love chili cook-off and a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds benefiting BLACK. The day will wrap up with door prizes and a cozy candlelight hike at sunset.

The Cold Weather Get Together is all about creating a welcoming, inclusive winter experience and connecting our community through outdoor recreation in the bluffs.
