Celebrate Women’s History Month in La Crosse – This March spend some time learning about women’s history at the La Crosse Area Heritage Center, eating at one of La Crosse’s women owned restaurants, and visiting local women owned businesses around the area.
All Weekend
Ludicrous Landscapes: Counter Production – Showcasing the talents of artist Katie Walberg, the exhibition Ludicrous Landscapes: Counter Production is on display at the Pumphouse Regional Arts Center until April 16th. The exhibition is a statement piece about the socio-political ideas of urban design, pollution, and natural resource exhaustion, exaggerated through drawings and sculptures.

Friday
Spotlight – Start your weekend off with the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Department of Theatre Arts. The Theatre Department will be putting on a free weekend of entertainment called Spotlight. The shows feature songs, monologue, and scene pieces that are chosen, directed, and performed by UWL Theatre students in the Frederick Theatre in Morris Hall. Friday night performances include the senior acting recital featuring Mykal Lake and musical numbers from Sunset Boulevard, Carousel, Beauty and the Beast, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as original scenes and monologues.
Saturday
La Crosse Cabin Fever Show – Take in an evening of musical entertainment at Leo and Leona’s from local favorites, SpaceHeaters & Dead Amsterdam. Dead Amsterdam brings you a meld of grunge, blues, and alternative rock while the SpaceHeaters will lay down original horn heavy funk-rock with tasty grooves.

Sunday
Night Fever: The Bee Gees Tribute – Top off your weekend with a show from the largest production of Bee Gees music in the world, Night Fever: The Bee Gees Tribute. The band has been touring for the past 10 years and recreates the look and sound of the Bee Gees, the popular English-Australian pop-rock band. The performance is part of Viterbo’s Presenting Series and will be at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30pm.
