Women Initiating Safe Environments Course | Three Rivers Martial Arts Academy

Three Rivers Martial Arts Academy is offering the Women Initiating Safe Environments class, which is an 8-week opportunity for women and females ages 12+ to learn self-defense. Three Rivers has been a staple in the La Crosse community for 45 years with over 5,200 graduates. In addition to the physical skills taught in this gritty, life-saving program, this course discusses multiple issues surrounding women’s safety and security, recovery from assault, boundary setting/keeping, confidence-building, and key factors for working through fear to empowerment. The most unique aspect of this program is the GRADUATION where students get to use their skills against a fully padded “assailant.” Trauma counselors are on site.
