Unboxing with Abe’s Raves: Stockholm Pie and General Store’s Cherry Berry Pie

Thank you Stockholm Pies for not only making an amazing pie but also figuring out how to package it where even if the post person drives like my mother, I still don’t have to deal with any mess while opening. 😉

I had an amazing experience the other day.  I got a pie in the mail.  I do believe we are now living in the future. I have been packing up my life and moving to another house. This was a perfect way to treat myself.

There’s no mess as it’s already made and is good to go when you open the box. That being said, if you would like to give the pie the true love it deserves, I recommend following the instructions for reheating. 350ºF for ten minutes and you feel like it’s the freshest you could imagine without burning yourself.

I suck at making pies; the mess and time really take away the want to make my own. This is a perfect alternative and still gives you the best parts of making a pie. The smell grows throughout the home, and the hot crispy exterior and soft warm center.  I got the flavor of Cherry Berry. I have been missing a sweet tartness for a while and this filled that void for me. The crust was flaky and perfect.

Shipping a pie was something I didn’t think possible and with it comes a gamble of losing some beauty in transit but the flavor is definitely still there; which is the main thing that I care about.  Even after heating, the innards stayed within their crust and the consistency was perfect. To be able to get something so magical and low maintenance feels like the invention of the car all over again. Get stuffed and do it with little to no effort.

Thank you Stockholm Pies for not only making an amazing pie but also figuring out how to package it where even if the post person drives like my mother, I still don’t have to deal with any mess while opening. Would I recommend it? Heck ya, I would! Welcome to the future, welcome to good pie, without the pig stye.
