The idea of celebrating our local heroes, folks that train for 3 month, 6 months, they go out there and they do something that maybe six months ago seemed impossible to them, to finish something truly difficult and then take home a remainder of all of that work (on creating functional ceramic awards).
Compass Ceramics owned by Lila Planavsky & Joshua Wolcott is a local company getting its start with personalized mugs and cups for events like the Festivals Foods Half Marathon and the Hixon 50K, it’s growing into themes that cover the natural environment including pollinators to roosters.
