Calling all zine and sustainable travel advocates!
Join Rachel MacFarland (with OPE!-a local publisher, and one of our longtime employees) to learn about her new zine, Riding Over Land. In this follow-up to her Flying Over Water zine, Rachel explores the future of sustainable travel through public transit and trains. It’s the second zine in a planned trilogy on how we humans interact with the Earth. Partially funded by a city arts grant, it dives into the cultural and environmental impact of increased train travel, spotlighting Amtrak’s new Borealis service between Minneapolis and Chicago. It’s a must-read for anyone passionate about sustainable travel and advocacy!
