The D’Sievers Trio is based in Rochester, MN. They perform jazz standards ranging from Ellington to Jobim and Miles Davis to Josef Zawinul. Our music includes some original compositions as well as pop songs reimagined in the jazz idiom. The D’Sievers performs mainly instrumental jazz featuring trombone but occasionally includes vocals. The D’Sievers have performed at regional festivals like the Minnesota Original Music Festival and the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Their music is playful and improvisatory.
