Join us for a St. Paddy’s Party on the Prairie sponsored by LORC and the Brice Prairie Conservation Association on Tuesday, March 17th at Red Pines, a full day (11am – 8:30 pm) of great food, live music with Joe Cody from 4-8 pm, exciting raffles, and Irish cheer, all in support of the North Shore Dredging Project on Lake Onalaska.This project is critical to restoring shallow-water habitat, improving overwintering areas for fish, reopening silted-in channels, and protecting the lake’s backwaters that support fishing, paddling, bird migration, and family recreation. Years of sediment buildup have reduced water depth, stressed fish populations, and limited access to the areas that make Lake Onalaska so special. This and future community-driven efforts will help reverse that trend.
Every raffle ticket purchased and every donation made helps close the remaining funding gap of $100,000 and directly supports the long-term health and vitality of the lake.
