5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche – The La Crosse Community Theatre will be showing 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche from April 21st to April 30th. Featuring laughs, innuendos, unsuccessful repressions, and delicious discoveries, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche makes for a great evening or afternoon of theater.

Dance Kaleidoscope 2023 at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center – Purchase tickets for the 2023 Dance Kaleidoscope at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center! The Dance Kaleidoscope features performances by Viterbo University students completing their dance minor degree training. Pieces vary in style from jazz and tap to ballet and modern while showcasing each choreographer’s individual style. Tickets are $16, and there are shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday 4/27

La Crosse SOUP at Cappella Performing Arts Center – The next La Crosse SOUP event is taking place on Thursday, April 27 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cappella Performing Arts Center. La Crosse SOUP is a collaborative celebration, a public dinner, and a platform for connection with a goal of bringing our community together to support creative projects designed to make La Crosse an even better place. For a suggested donation of just $5, attendees receive soup, bread, and a vote for who will receive funding to support their project.

Friday 4/28

Cheech’s Deece Fest Pre Party with Shoeless Revolution – Deecefest isn’t until July, but get a little taste of the fun at Cheech’s Deecefest Pre Party on April 28th at The Main. The party will feature the band Shoeless Revolution, and the chance to win two pairs of tickets for Deecefest this summer. The doors open at 6:00 and the show kicks off at 7:00 pm. Grab your tickets now!

Mariachi Sol De México De José Hernàndez – Buy tickets in advance to see Jóse Hernàndez’ Mariachi Sol de Mexico at the Cappella Performing Arts Center on Friday, April 28. The performance starts at 7:30 pm and will feature music from the worlds’ premiere Mariachi group that has played sold out halls from Madison Square Garden to Beijing, China to the White House. This is one show you may not want to miss out on.

Kyle Renfro ft. Mason Neprud & Friends at Alpine Inn – Head to Alpine Inn on Friday night to see Kyle Renfro and Mason Neprud & Friends at 8:00 pm. The performances will feature some rockin; blues music, and you can purchase great food and drinks at the bar. Don’t miss out!

5Point Adventure Film Festival – Make your way to the Rivoli Theatre & Pizzeria for the 5Point Adventure Film Festival starting at 7:00 pm. The event will feature eight films presented by La Crosse Adventure Films that will include two hours of adventure and great stories from the annual Carbondale Festival.

Saturday 4/29

Artist Gathering Tattoo Convention & Music Festival at the La Crosse Center – Stop by the La Crosse Center for the Artist Gathering Tattoo Convention and Music Festival presented by OG Pricks, Inkology 101 and Shades of Color. The event will bring over 100 of the nation’s most elite tattoo artists and shops to the center. Come down to experience the Tattoo Competition, art gallery, raffles, and live music by Gregg Cheech Hall. Get free admission with a $10 donation or 10 perishable canned goods to donate to the La Crosse Food Pantry.

Grounded Patio Cafe’s 20th Anniversary Party – Help Grounded Patio Cafe celebrate their 20th anniversary this Saturday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The party will feature live music by Big Liquor, who will rock the house with energetic country rock from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will also be craft beer on tap from 608 Brewing company and Pearl Street Brewery, a live pour-over demonstration, and raffle prizes throughout the event.

Story Circle with the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife & Fish Refuge – Join the story circle with your kids on Saturday morning at 10:00 am to hear Ranger Kathryn read “Near One Cattail,” by Anthony D. Fredericks. The story time will include a sensory experience as props from the story are passed around. Then enjoy an indoor scavenger hunt in the exhibits or an outdoor scavenger hunt to look for signs of spring on the prairie trails. This program is best suited for children ages 4-7 years old, though all ages are welcome.

Mid West Music Fest Winona – Start looking forward to Mid West Music Fest in Winona! Purchase your tickets for this Driftless region festival that has been featuring regional artists for over 13 years. The festival promotes music and art of all genres and mediums, and supports the connection of the community to our local music and art scenes throughout the area. The festival will be on May 12th and 13th, 2023.

Starting at 3:00 pm, see live performances of all your favorite Jim Croce hits by Mark Joseph, Josh Rabie, and Gregg Hall. There will be a $10 cover charge at the door.

Alpine Inn Presents: The Granddad Get-Down – Grab your tickets early for the Granddad Get-Down, a bluegrass and folk music festival this summer at Alpine Inn. The music starts at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 3 with a lineup featuring Bryce Thomaschefsky, Spine Stealers, Knee High July, Hemlock Chaser, Billy Bronsted and the Loot, and Joseph Huber. Tickets are $10 presale, and $15 dollars the day of the show.
