The holidays will be here before you know it! Between Halloween costumes, holiday dinners, travel, and gifts, expenses can add up quickly. We’re here to help you get your wallets and budgeting tips ready. A little planning now can help keep your budget (and stress) and under control. Here are a few family-friendly tips:

1. DIY/Swap Costume – Get creative with what you already have, host a costume swap with friends and neighbors, or check out secondhand shops for affordable finds.
2. Halloween Candy – Buy in bulk or split a large bag with friends/family to save on costs.
3. Plan Ahead – Create a holiday spending plan and set limits now so gifts, meals, and travel don’t sneak up on your budget.
4. Shop Early – Spread purchases out over time instead of all at once.
5. Use Credit Cards Wisely – Try to avoid putting expenses on high-interest cards. If you do, aim to pay them off in full.
