The Mouse That Roared by One Way Theatre | Horizon Christian Fellowship

32 local children are starring in One Way Theatre’s MainStage production of The Mouse That Roared, the story of a tiny country on the brink of bankruptcy, and their comedic plan to fix it all.
“Don’t pass up a country just because it’s small!”
The Dutchy of Grand Fenwick’s economy is tanking ever since a Californian brand started ripping off their only export- the Pino Grand Fenwick- with a cheap imitation, and things are looking desperate. But Gloriana the Twelfth has a plan: 1) declare war on on the U.S.A., 2) be vanquished by them, and 3) reap the benefits of post-war rehabilitation and aid from said country. However their attempt at invasion results in something most unexpected- they win!
This delightful comedy explores the importance of moral conviction and courage to do the right thing, even if you stand alone.
The play is based on the book by Leonard Wibberley and adapted by Christopher Sergel. Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.
One Way Theatre is a local community theatre focused on bringing quality productions to home educated youth, community adults, and audiences of all ages. This is their 10th year and 8th full length production!
The Mouse That Roared opens at Horizon Christian Fellowship (85 Milwaukee St, La Crosse, WI) for the weekend of April 17th and 18th, with shows at 2pm and 6:30pm both days.
