The area’s furriest residents will strut their stuff at the Alliance of Wisconsin Animal Rehoming Effort’s (AWARE) Pet Expo LAX on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the Omni Center in Onalaska, WI. This fundraiser’s general hours are from 9AM to 4PM. Animal lovers big and small will have a blast on of the newest charitable events in the Coulee Region, benefiting Wisconsin’s homeless pet population. Join us to experience pet related shopping and services in one place, on one day! In the mood for a puppy, kitten, a strutting cat, bunny, bird or a guinea pig? Maybe a reptile or two or three? Whether you’re looking to interact with many species or find your new best friend through one of the many exhibiting rescues and shelters, Pet Expo LAX offers the best in show for family entertainment and shopping!
The expo will showcase pet related exhibits, interactive educational opportunities and for cat lovers, a ACFA Championship & Household Pet Cat Show and cat education presented by Windy Kitty Cat Club. Visit and learn lots in our Reptile Education and Interaction area and Small Animal Education Station! Meet adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues and lots of educational opportunities. Visit our New Product Showcase and Raffle area to view and enter to win new products offered by vendors and local businesses.
General Admission (ages 13 & up) is $7 from 9AM-2PM, Students with ID is $5, Special Price General Admission is $5 from 2PM-4PM. FREE admission for children 12 and under, and veterans with military ID from 9AM-4PM. Tickets are available at door at Pet Expo LAX on October 17th. All admission proceeds from the expo benefit AWARE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in Wisconsin.
