Holiday Collection with Handel’s Messiah | Viterbo University Fine Arts Center
Celebrate the season with the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra at Holiday Collection with Handel’s Messiah, an evening filled with beloved holiday favorites, festive storytelling, and the power of the full orchestra and chorus.
The first half features seasonal favorites including A Christmas Festival, Stille Nacht, Sleigh Ride, and Lucas Richman’s Hanukkah Festival Overture. The program also includes a special narrated performance of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas – Santa Claus Symphony, featuring Dr. James Beeby, Chancellor of UW-La Crosse, as narrator.
After intermission, the LSO and 2026 Symphony Chorus bring selections from Handel’s Messiah to life, featuring soprano Theodora Ivanova Nestorova and mezzo-soprano Alexandra Burch, culminating in the iconic Hallelujah Chorus, with the audience invited to stand and sing.
