Join us for a woodblock printmaking workshop led by Shoua Yang, a local professional printmaker. Students will be guided through the full woodcut printing process over a 5-week workshop.
$85 for 5 week session (must be able to attend each session)
All Supplies are included in class fee

Class occurring weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm Starting April 29th and running through May 27th. By the final week, students will have created a design, transferred it to wood, carved, and printed their work.
Course schedule:
Week 1, Tuesday April 29th – intro, PowerPoint presentation, work on image/theme, assignment to work on your image, harder the image the longer you carve, part in theater, part in art studio
Week 2, Tuesday May 6th- image transfer, have a complete image, learn how to put image onto wood cut, assigned to finish transfer
Week 3, Tuesday May 13th – carving, demo, finish at home
Week 4, Tuesday May 20th– printing on paper, possible extend class hours to 2
Week 5, Tuesday May 27th – print exchange, discussion, Q&A
