Mulholland Drive (2001)
Directed by David Lynch
A sensation when it was released at Cannes, Muholland Drive would earn Lynch his third Academy Award nomination for best director. Equal parts horrific, confounding, and mesmerizing, perhaps no other film in Lynch’s career generated as much curiosity and discussion as Muholland Drive…not to mention it contains one of the most notorious jump scenes in movie history! So take this as a warning: if you’re looking for answers to Mulholland Drive, don’t look in the alley behind Winkie’s Diner.
9pm
Lost Highway (1997)
Directed by David Lynch
Featuring a stacked soundtrack of 1990s alternative classics by Nine Inch Nails, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, Rammstien and Lou Reed, Lost Highway is one Lynch’s most intense films, marking a turning point away from the world of Twin Peaks and into the subconscious of Los Angeles.
Double feature $16 presale tickets
Individual movies $10ea. day of show
