LIVE MUSIC – Summer Dance & Brat Dinner w/ Malek’s Fishermen Band | Concordia Ballroom

You are cordially invited to the Concordia Ballroom’s Summer Dance and Brat Dinner, featuring Malek’s Fishermen Band!

Doors open at noon; dancing is from 1-4pm.

Malek’s Fishermen Band is one of the finest polka bands in the Midwest and continues the great tradition of dance music excellence started by Syl Malek in the 1930’s with Malek Bros. Accordion Band.

The modern Malek’s Fishermen Band plays a wide range of dance music that includes the traditional old-tyme polkas, waltzes, two-steps, and schottisches as well as country, big band, Dixieland, and other dance hall favorites. Malek’s Fishermen Band has its own distinctive sound that is a favorite of dancers and listeners throughout the Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin region. For purchase at the hall will be plated dinners with brat or hot dog, baked beans, potato salad or chips, and pickles. Popcorn, desserts, and a full bar are also available during the event.

Admission to the dance is $12.00 or $10.00 for Concordia Members.
