Grand Opening of Fire Station #4 1/2 | Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum of La Crosse is thrilled to announce the grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration for its newest exhibit, La Crosse Fire Station #4 ½ – The ABC’s of HVAC, on June 11th, starting at 11:00am. This exciting, hands-on exhibit blends the fun and heroism of firefighting with an engaging introduction to the science of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Museum, located at 207 5th Avenue South in downtown La Crosse. Families, community members, and media are invited to attend the event, explore the new exhibit, and enjoy badge sticker and photo sessions with the fire fighters by Lemonade Photo.

Exhibit Highlights:
A kid-sized fire station complete with a fire truck, bunk room, upper deck with slide, locker room with gear, and interactive wall connecting the ABC’s of HVAC.
Interactive HVAC-themed wall that explains airflow, energy use, and system mechanics in an age-appropriate way with the use of lights, pressure, air flow, and silly-fun!
